We are committed to being transparent about how we handle your information. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected. If you have any questions, please contact us at our contact page.

What Information We Collect

This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or any passive data collection tools.

The only personal information we collect is what you voluntarily submit through the Volunteer Sign-Up form. That form may ask for:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Zip code
  • Languages spoken (optional)
  • Volunteer interests and availability

Submitting this form is entirely voluntary. You are never required to provide this information to use or browse the site.

How We Use Your Information

Volunteer form submissions are used solely for the purpose of recruiting and coordinating campaign volunteers. Specifically, we use this information to:

  • Follow up with you about volunteer opportunities
  • Match you to volunteer activities that fit your interests and availability
  • Coordinate outreach efforts within your area
  • Communicate updates relevant to your role as a volunteer

We will not use your information for any purpose beyond volunteer coordination without your explicit consent.

Who Has Access to Your Information

Access to volunteer form data is strictly limited to authorized campaign staff who require it to fulfill volunteer coordination duties. All personnel with access are expected to handle this data responsibly and in accordance with this policy.

Your information is never sold, rented, traded, or otherwise shared with third parties for any purpose — including marketing, advertising, or political purposes unrelated to this campaign.

Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect the information you provide against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Access controls are in place to ensure only authorized campaign staff can view volunteer submissions.

More sensitive pieces of collected data — such as contact information — are stored in a hashed format. Hashing is a one-way process that converts readable data into an encoded value; the stored record is not human-readable on its own and must be decoded by authorized systems before it can be viewed in its original form. This means that even if stored data were ever accessed without authorization, it would not be immediately legible.

Volunteer form data is processed and stored through Cloudflare, a third-party infrastructure provider. Due to current technical limitations, localized storage of this data is not feasible at this time. As a result, any information you submit is also subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy, which governs how they handle data on their platform. We encourage you to review their policy if you have questions about how your data is managed at the infrastructure level.

While we strive to safeguard your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We encourage you to reach out if you have any concerns.

Your Rights

You have the right to request that your information be updated or removed from our records at any time. To make such a request, please reach out to us through our contact page. We will fulfill your request promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
